You may have heard reports about a pole shift, but you do not know exactly what this means. A pole shift can have devastating consequences on the earth. If this even occurs, life as humans know it will change drastically.
It has been predicted that the magnetic force of the earth has slowly been decreasing over time. This magnetic force is referred to as the magnetosphere of the earth and it plays a vital part in the rotation of the earth and a stable climate. If something has and a pole shift occurs, life on earth could be greatly affected. Some scientists predict that some radiation may fall from the sky and other scientists predict a much direr situation for the earth and environment and this can have a very devastating consequence for all life force on earth.
It may be that the rotational force of the earth is affected by a pole shift and this can cause a compass to not work properly. It may also lead to GPS devices not working and this can affect almost every satellite system. This may affect the human race for the short term, but it is predicted that the problem can be corrected in a timely manner and there would not be a cause for panic an alarm. With all of the different reports out there, it is hard to predict with efficiency when, if anything will happen.
Some people are correlating a pole shift with the 2012 Mayan prophecies. The Mayan prophecies are something that have been all over the news lately and while a few years ago, almost no one knew anything about these prophecies, now it seems you hear about the Mayans all the time. There are very conflicted beliefs about the Mayans and it is hard to know what information to believe.
The worse case scenario of a pole shift would be worse then a nuclear blast and would affect all species, including humans in every corner of the earth. This is something that you may not want to think about and can be overwhelmingly scary for many people.
A pole shift can be very complicated to wrap your head around, but once you do some simple research, it may help you to understand this concept more clearly. It is unclear what, if anything will happen in the near future, but it may comfort you to be informed and have the knowledge that will help you understand what the experts are thinking.
